Hi all !

Ensemble for New Music from Zagreb, Croatia, have just finished our last
project
Opera- Choreodrama ' Berlin Alexanderplatz '.

Now we want to perform this piece in Berlin, maybe somewhere
on Alexanderplatz...

We will be grateful to everybody who can help us in any way...

----

This Opera was made as a part of a serial of Postmodern opera's - 'Nikola
Tesla', 'Sigmund Freud' and 'Joseph Beuys'.

Opera ' Berlin Alexanderplatz '.is an opera for 3 singers, 1 actor
and 2 dancers of 60-min. duration.
Belonging to the minimalistic spectrum of
classical music, it combines elements of the three classical theatrical
forms opera, drama and dance and is supported throughout the performance by
computer-generated video animations, thus becoming a multi-media event.

Its' songs are based on lyrics by Döblin's contemporaries J.Joyce and
E.E.Cummings and it derives
its narrative content from his book.
Acting F. Biberkopf himself, a narrator invites us to follow on a
hypothetical journey through this book.

The music belongs to the tradition of contemporary
post-modern, post-minimalistic music, inspired by Philip Glass, John Cage
and Gyorgy Ligeti.

Visual side of this chamber spectacle features music interactive video wall,
expressive scenery, and fantastic costumes.
