passive card used as x75 modem

Hi,

Will it be possible to use a passive ISDN card (Eicon DIVA) as a X.75 modem
emulator?

I'm using RedHat 9.0 with a
sbin/mgetty ttyI0
command in /etc/inittab but got errors about respawning too fast and device
not found.
