ChemicaLogic Corporation published the results of a study comparing the
differences of the four major formulations of thermodynamic and transport
properties of water and steam. The results of this study can be seen at

These four formulations are:
# IAPSW-95 (new, scientific, basis of comparison)
# IAPWS-IF97 (new, industrial)
# NBS/NRC-84 (previous, scientific)
# IFC-67 (previous, industrial)
