Einleitung zu de.admin.infos
============================

"de.admin.infos" ist eine moderierte Newsgroup, in der regelmäßig
von einer Moderation Artikel veröffentlicht werden, die sich vor allem
an solche Netz-Teilnehmer wenden, die aktiv an der Gestaltung des
deutsprachigen Usenets mitwirken wollen.

"de.admin.infos" wendet sich also - im Gegensatz zur Newsgroup
"de.newusers.infos" - an die schon etwas erfahrenen Netz-Teilnehmer,
die nicht nur an Diskussionen in Newsgruppen teilnehmen, sondern die
Struktur des Usenets an sich verbessern wollen.

Kurzum, in "de.admin.infos" geht es um Informationen zu
administrativen Belangen des Netzes.

Weiterführende Informationen

Unerfahrene Netz-Teilnehmer sollten sich zuerst mit den Texten aus der
Newsgroup "de.newusers.infos" vertraut machen. Dort wird Grundsätzliches
zur Teilnahme am Usenet erklärt. In "de.newusers.questions" können auch
Fragen gestellt werden.


Artikel im Web
--------------

Sollte die Gruppe "de.admin.infos" nahezu leer sein, hat
vermutlich ein News-Administrator sein News-System unpassend
konfiguriert und die Haltezeit der Gruppe zu gering gewählt.
Die Artikel aus "de.admin.infos" können aber auch im
"World Wide Web" (WWW) abgerufen werden unter folgender URL:

Technisches für Admins
----------------------

Da die einzelnen Artikel "Expires:"-Zeilen enthalten, sollten die
aktuellen Artikel automatisch wenigstens drei Monate lang aufgehoben
werden, solange keine Refresh-Postings erscheinen. Pflichtbewußte
Administratoren haben ihr News-System daher entsprechend eingestellt.
Für die News-Software INN (Unix) sähe ein passender Eintrag in der
Konfigurationsdatei "expire.ctl" folgendermaßen aus:

de.admin.infos:M:1:100:never

Die Artikel sind mit "Supersedes:"-Zeilen versehen, so daß die
News-Software - soweit richtig konfiguriert - alle alten Artikel
in "de.admin.infos" beim Eintreffen der neuen Artikel automatisch
entfernt. Es liegen also immer nur die aktuellen Artikel vor.
