Mentors role

Hare Krishna,

Please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupad!

As per my discussion with Shubha mataji regarding the follow up I had with my mentees, she asked me to initiate the discussion about the role of mentors. I am just initiating some points regarding the role of mentors. 

According to me there are few steps 

1) Mentor should associate with the mentees after the regular class so that we can understand their capabilities, interests, determination as well as the family atmosphere which is very important.   

2) Mentor may not use the same method to make them progress. Slowly after knowing their interests mentor will engage them in some seva in the class or outside the class, as per their interests (Example some may like to read, some may like to sing or some may like  deity worship etc... )

3) Slowly mentees will find closeness with the mentor, then mentor will actually start guiding them with reference to Sadhana chart.
