Ok. Even worse news, got this message from Jhumpa mam :

Dear Balashish,

Here is the extract from the rule book:

  When a student is unable to submit the
report by the required date due to valid
reasons, it is necessary for him/her to make
a specific request to the UGAPEC for
extension, through the supervisor and
DUGC, stating (i) the reasons for delay,
(ii) the expected date of submission (iii)
pay the institute fee for the next semester
and (iv) formally register for that
semester if not done so in the normal
course.  The maximum grade awarded will
be restricted to “BC” for such cases, unless
extension had been granted by Convener,
UGAPEC.

Ok. To people who didn't understand :

Our PPTs are scheduled for 8th (I think) and reports will be due earlier (by about a week).

I am planning to extend my dates by 2 weeks, so all the fuss. I will talk to facad and inform on this thread.

So, I just talked to Nanavati sir and his words were :

"It's upto your guide to decide which examiner he invites. There has to be a chairperson present for the presentation. There is a form you can download of the net - it's a detailed one, you have to fill that out and submit it to the Acad office, by some date, I think, 30th June"

He also said - don't quote me on this (I like to live dangerously). 

So, upto you guys to decide ki kab kisko deni hai.

I will coerce my guide now.

I think the report has to be given a week or so in advance, though I think even 3-4 days works.
