REMINDER Starting July 1, 2026 DD Waiver Reminder of the Interoperability & Prior Authorization Implementation Effective Date July 1, 2026 Please review the Medicaid Bulletin that was released in December 2025 with information specific to Service Authorization Decision Timeframes. Individuals receiving DD Waiver Services can expect their waiver service authorization decisions for DD Waiver Services will meet the new timeframe requirements by July 1, 2026. Reminder Medicaid Bulletin - Interoperability and Prior Authorization Final Additionally, due to these expectations around Prior/Service Authorizations (SA), changes within WaMS will be implemented on July 1, 2026 to help meet and monitor SA submissions, pends, and final determinations. Please review the WaMS System Auto Approval Memo (released 6.1.26) for the updated processes from the Manual Auto Approval Memo that was sent in December 2024 and December 2025.
