DDMSence v1.11.0 is now available for download. This is a stable release which adds support for XSLT2-based Schematron validation, performance improvements when using multiple Controlled Vocabularies, and a few minor bug fixes.  This release is backwards compatible with 1.10.0.

Xalan Interpretive (the previous default XSLT engine) has been replaced with Saxon HE since the latter is pretty much the only XSLT engine that can handle XSLT2 constructs. I have also rewritten the documentation on Schematron validation so it covers both XSLT1 and XSLT2, and includes sample code for validating with the IC's ISM.XML Schematron files.
Looking ahead, the next big release of DDMSence will probably be in September 2011, adding support for DDMS 4.0. That DDMS update will contain plenty of new IC constructs, as the DoD and IC attempt to merge IC-IRM into DDMS.

Regards,
BU
