DDMSence v1.7.1 is now available for download. This is a stable patch
release which corrects a very minor issue with validation on
ddms:boundingBox elements.
In previous releases, the northbound latitude value (with an allowable
range of -90 to 90) was actually
validated as a longitude (-180 to 180). Although this bug would not
erroneously reject valid data, it might allow some bad data in.
You probably do not need to update to this version if you are
currently using 1.7.0 -- I just felt that a patch release for this
issue might be worthwhile since I do not forsee a 1.8.0 release before
the end of 2010.
Version 1.7.1 is backwards compatible with all versions since v1.4.0.
