I'm pleased to be able to share details of the next event hosted by the Durham Diocesan Evangelical Network. Everyone is very welcome.

Philip Plyming (Dean of Durham) will give a talk on his recent book, Giving Thanks: Rediscovering the Heart of Gratitude.

In an uncertain and threatening world, gratitude can be difficult. Yet the Bible calls us to 'give thanks in all circumstances'. This is beautifully expressed in the General Thanksgiving from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. How can this prayer help us to face the challenges of today?

Free, but contributions welcomed. Followed by a short annual meeting of the DEN.
