Sorry if this is a dumb question.  We have been struggling with this for a while where we will be using the the UI interface in DDF,  localhost:8993/search for example and it will work for ~30 min or so and then all of a sudden we get a Unauthrozied error, our DDF log is:

2017-09-14 11:37:54,725 | INFO | tp368592034-1332 | LoginFilter | ecurity.filter.login.LoginFilter 451 | 263 - security-filter-login - 2.8.3.SNAPSHOT | SAML assertion has expired.

Since we are still developing we aren't using any kind user authentication just wide open, long term we will use PKI and have tested that we don't seem to have this issue then.  But looking for ways to disable this or work around it when we don't have that?

Any suggestions would be great, thanks!

2.8.x had some issues with renewing user sessions. 2.10+ should be fine. You can increase the ttl of the assertion in the STS server properties from 30 minutes to whatever you want. PKI has the same issue, it is just automatically logging you back in again after the assertion expires because it already has your credentials.

Thanks Scott, sounds like we need to update our DDF versions, appreciate the workaround though!
