While this webinar is primarily for those consumers and their families who are dealing with MI issues, the basic info is relaventbto all consumers of the CMH system. Your rights are the same, regardless of diagnosis.

There was an error in the information about a webinar that MHAM is hosting in collaboration with Michigan Protection and Advocacy Service, Inc. about the Medicaid Fair Hearing process. The misprint read, "Fair Trial" and it should have read "Navigating the Medicaid Fair Hearing Process in Managed Care." Also, there was a problem with the Zoom registration link that has been resolved. We appreciate your patience as we learn how to navigate this new world of technology! Additionally, this webinar is the first of many MHAM will be hosting to educate individuals with psychiatric conditions, their families/friends/loved ones/allies, about "how" to navigate the community mental health system. Future topics will include knowing how to be a great self-advocate and a little bit of history about the disability rights movement. Future dates will be sent out a few weeks in advance.  Due to the generosity of the Gerstacker Foundation, MHAM will record these webinars on Zoom and they can viewed on MHAM's You Tube channel, at any time.
