Sector 28 Rohini, No Electricity and water connection

Dear Allottees,

After 2 years of allotment sector 28 Rohini has not got Water and
electricity supply. Upon enquiry with the JE, he has informed that it
would take time to get water and electricity..I called up Delhi
Jalboard and Tata Power who are supposed to give water and electricity
connection to this area . They said that DDA has not handed over the
water ans electricity supply to them yet.I'm quite disgusted and
confused.On records we are the owners of a flat but in reality, the
flat is of no use.

I think all the owners of the sector 28 will have to collectively file
an RTI or take a step forward on this so that we get the basic
electricity and water in our flats, otherwise, by the time they give
us the connection, the flats would decay..

I would request our members to put their views in it and collectively
take a step.

Dear all,

 

Prices in Rohini Sector-28 are lowest in comparison to other locations, main reason because they are not habitable(lack of electricity and water). There is nexus between some of the DDA official and property dealers so that the whole process should get delay and compel the genuine end users to sell their flats.

 

I too agree that we have to unite and file the RTI regarding the action taken by DDA. From my side questions are:

 

1. What is the action taken by DDA related to supply of water and electricity?

2. If any communication between the DDA and other agencies related to water and electricity, please provide the copy of the same.

3. Who will pay the penalty for non making these flat habitable.

I think a single person filing the RTI would not help.We would have to
take a consolidated RTI if possible.I would request any of the members
if they are lawyers etc and could guide us on this please.

Dear Sonalika ji,

 

I am active RTI users. There is no provision to ask it collectively. If we are doing so all the applicant require to sign it. That may not be feasible to many of us to reach a single place and sign the RTI. Instread of that all of us can file the RTI individually and wait for the response.

 

Other method is to get collected infront of DDA office and give the collective representation to DDA Chairman/Vice-chairman.

I think we should all give a representation then to t he Vice
chairman./chairman at DDA. Would it be possible that the same day we
sign the RTI at DDA, may be all of us together.

I would Kindly request all allottes to make the presence in this
thread to take a decision collectively on further steps for
electricity and water supply at rohini sector 28

Dear All,

Today I spoke to the Superintending Engineers of Sector 28 Rohini, GH1,2,3 & 4 .
They have assured that they have already laid pipes etc.in the area
for water supply and once we are shifting ther they can make the
arrangement within one day by sending water tankers.Soon they are
taking steps for permanent connection also.

Also, for electricity I spoke with their Chief electrical office, who
has assured that the new power hub would have been started by 31st
Jan but due to some internal issues, it has been delayed.They are
expecting to start giving connections within a month and they would
set up camps also in Rohini so that the new connections can be given
without much trouble.He also said that they would publish this in
newspaper very soon.

After getting assurance from the Senior-most officials, I hope the
connection would be given soon.
