Hi all,

I have a query regarding SBI Home loan. I got my amount disbursed last month. I was wondering if there is a way to get an online account for SBI Home Loan, where I can check the diburseed amount, EMI, ROI and other such informations online. I already have SBI online netbanking account for my SBI savings account, but I don't see any information regarding my home loan there !

thanks

You must be seeing your loan account when you're logging into your saving account. You need to raise a request to your loan home branch to get online access and third party fund transfer facility of your loan account. I will suggest you to get the muliticity cheque book also of your max gain(loan) account.

Its one of the biggest disadvantage to own a blackberry phone:) lolz.
However, everyone reserve the right to unsubscribe from the group at
any point of time, instead of feeling offended:)

Hi all,

I also have a query regarding SBI Home loan. I got my amount disbursed
last month. I can see my loan account linked with my SBI saving

So i transferred some surplus in my loan account. Now i want to
withdraw that surplus for my expenses. But not able to do it .. Do we
need separate rights for internet banking on Loan account ?? If yes,
Can i get these rights thru' email ?? ( I am living in Gujrat so it
does not seems feasible to visit my branch in delhi )

Please guide me !!!

Thanks
Ankush

I think that can be done over email/phone.

Take a cheque book also for your home loan account.

amount in loan account from saving account, Money was credited into
Loan account but its not showing when I want to transfer back to my
saving account or third party account. I made this transaction
yesterday.

Hi Jagdish,

I think they give online transaction rights by default. If you have any account in sbi or other nationalize bank you can transfer the money to it through internet banking.

SBI has linked you homeloan account with savings account. So, you're able to see your loan account balance when you logged in from your savings login id.
What you need is a Third party transfer rights from your home loan account.

Hi Naveen,

I asked them to give me third party transfer rights for my loan
account, they activated transaction rights on this account, now I was
able to see this account as account which can transfer money to other
accounts through third party transfer, but i am not able to see the
amount balance in this account, so I am not able to transfer the
amount from loan account to third party account.

Thanks

Have you paid the money to DDA?

Its strange to know that you can see this account but not the balance in it.

No..No..I mean that I can see the balance in my account as credited
and total balance in my account ,but when i want to transfer the
amount which I transfered from saving account (like 100/- I transfered
to loan account ) to a third party account through TPT , I am not able
to see this credited amount there to transfer. It should show that
100/- amount in the Loan account which I can transfer in third party
account but its not.

Thanks

I think, I got the issue.

Have you started paying your emi?
When you click on "account balance" for your home loan account.
What figure does it shows for "Available Balance"?

This figure should be in positive.

It means 1st emi is not gone yet..

It seems that they have charged you interest for the last month.

You need to transfer some more money :)

Obviously..they have charged interest for last month..and I am waiting
for emi to be deducted from their side :)...

But i got your point as once the emi is paid ,,it will be in positive
whenever I will transfer money to the amount and then will be able to
use it..
