Ganga Block,Vasant Kunj D6

Dears,
Uploading some photos from a visit to Vasant Kunj, Ganga block . The
flat shown is one of flat in Ganga block(facing main road). The
outside and inside views are from same Ganga block flat. I hope it
will give some idea to members who couldn't manage to visit the site.

I got some information from security guard sitting at Gate regarding
the front main road. As per him it will be main road up to
Gurgaon(meeting mahrouli-GGN road near Ayanagar) and there is a
planned flyover just in-front of these blocks. This will be after they
resolve issue with farmhouse which is currently just at the end of
this road. I don't know how correct is this information but Guard was
very much sure of this.

hi,

did you like the wooden work in those flats? i found it of very substandard quality. and it seems there will be no lcd tv in the flats. seems that i have to purchase one now :P

Hi every one,

here are some more pics of ganga-yamuna block. photos includes 3 bhk and 1 bhk flats. dont miss the verandah given with 3 bhk flats. and a lot of work is pending. i went there again after 3 months and it seems they did not work at all for those 3 months. i dont think even 1 year is sufficient to complete the pending work with this speed.

I really love the location of vasant kunj D6 block. amazing location with nice garden outside the apartment boundary.

dear sirs,
many tks for loading pics of ganga block.sincerely appriciate. by looking at pics and stated speed of work it looks like it may take more than six month or so. thats not the only point of worry the main concern should be that dda  should not stat completing  work in haste with sub std. material which looks good at that time but start giving way after some time. Most of the govt project including cwg work was looking that it would  take million years to complete . finally they had done it some how before game . Hope they will not do the same with this project as well.

i went there three months earlier and then i went there now. nothing much was done there in last 3 months. things look all the same.... incomplete work... if they wanted to complete on time, they would have done some work in last 3 months too.

Thanks to DDA's in-efficiency and the pace at which its contractors are getting work completed ...You will all be provided a "Free Self Help Course"  in masonry and construction...Please start practising by lifting bricks and white washing walls ....Happy Building your own house ....

 

I guess that's what we will all have to eventually do ....

 

Did I hear someone say "DDA has done it again"           :)

if you did not hear, even then DDA has surely done it again :)

A poor guy like me is dependent on the rent to pay off the huge emi of dda flat. and if i do not get the possession then things are going to be really tough for me :(

and those who have visited the site knows that even the work done is not excellent. i have uploaded pic of a kitchen which is not rectangular in shape (by seeing the pic u might not feel that but in real its a very bad shape. wider on one side). its some other shape.. shape which dda wanted :D  and now the next lucky draw will be for those who get the house with rectangular rooms. otherwise dda has given many shapes. and i have seen some amazing grill work on windows.. i was so shocked that i forgot to take a pic. jahan marzi jaisa marzi laga dia grills ko dda ne. not in all flats. but in few lucky ones (read fucky ones)

For me I am fine if they delay and payement also gets delayed by same
time. This gives more time to arrange money and we can avoid EMI load.
If they ask for money in this situation then we all needs to be
together and take legal action. Also we need to evaluate the cost they
have paid for all funishings, quality of furninshings and comapre with
what is available in market. I am sure there will be issues with this
as afterall this was related to CWG somehow :)

i am also fine if the payment is delayed. but  i am not fine if i have to pay now and will get the possession after a couple of years. and those guys must be charging us around 5 lakhs i guess for the fittings. and wood work is damn bad. the worst i have ever seen. it wont last a year. and the bed... u better only sit on it. if one tries some extra activities on bed, then it will surely break.

I visited the site and its far from complete. I hope DDA does not ask allottees to pay now as It seems it can take upto Holi to get completed.

Even a front boundary wall of ganga - yamuna block has not been made like the one for saraswati-narmada.

The news piece i have posted, is in today's dainik hindustan. People at site are also telling that demand letters are ready. They are just waiting for some permissions. Boundary wall or incomplete work is not a problem for dda :) i have flat in yamuna. when i got demand letter, that time also there was no boundary wall and work is still going on there. Lifts are still not installed (except Y1 block - as far as i know).

I visited the site recently and here are my observations:

I have seen the plasters of the ceilings already falling off in one of the flats... The work in Electricity equipment and fittings are substandard too... Hope they don't give us the furniture,which I believe would be rotten by now...

Don't expect anything by December atleast... March might be reality...

Hi All!

I think allottees of Ganga should urgently meet Director (Housing) of DDA and request him to postpone sending the demand letters and ask him to send demand letters after six months as it seems Ganga block will be ready to move in by middle of next year only.

Allotees should not be asked to pay now as they will suffer a great amount of loss on interest on amount paid now.

DDA should wait until all the towers of Ganga are complete, lifts become operational, water is supplied, boundary wall with Gate of front side is constructed, Proper Parks and Roads are developed

Delay of lifts, water supply, parks, roads, common areas must also highlighted in complaints besides just work pending inside flats as DDA has charged for everything which includes number of trees in the park!

I request to all concerned members to send their complaints to CCI for the same issue and request atleast 15% compensation of paid amount for one year. More the number of compliant the better it will be for the case against DDA for fine and get compensation which works about Rs 8-12lakhs on average ( 15 % on paid amount for one year)
