Property Tax on DDA Flats

Hi All,

Does any one has an idea about the Property Tax to be paid to MCD.

MCD Website has the facility of paying tax online, but the information whether Tax is applicable on Flats which have been allocated this Year are covered or not is not available. Also on the website one has to provide size of Flat - DDA has not provided any such information. Only approx Plinth Area was given in the DDA 2010 Scheme Broucher. We have to pay tax for Plinth Area or Carpet Area - In whatsoever case who will certify the same.

Further My Flats Conveyance Deed was executed in Dec'12. MCD Tax (Property Tax) thus will be applicable for the Full Financial Year or only 3 1/2 months.

In case anyone has information, pl share.

Also , please let me know if we can claim income tax rebate on home
loan also after taken possession but before CD execution for this
year.

Has any one paid tax for DDA Drawka flats in Sector 18 B. Since we have paid over Rs 5 lacs to DDA for maintenance for 30 yeas. Whether the flats have been handed over to MCD now. Please reconfirm the same.
