I called up the Axis bank helpline and was told that the NOC's will be
send in the first week of June (if you remember initially they said it
will be sent on 25th May). The lady said if we need the NOC earlier we
have to visit their Lajpat Nagar branch. I asked her about the
verification letter and she said that as per her understanding the
letter will be sent directly to our address and not to the bank.

Hope this helps.

Whoever receives the NOC, please let others know.

Thanks
Om

I called Axis Bank and got the reply that NOC will be sent along with demand letter.

oh man.. this is horrible. I guess we just have to go to the lajpat
nagar branch to know what is actually going to happen. there was
similar confusion when we had to pay the 1.5lacs.

I also called Axis Bank helpline number, but as usual the replies were
not consistent / confident. Than called Inderpal Singh, who is looking
after this DDA loan application section and confirmed that they have
not sent NOC's as of now and will start sending next week. And as I
have absolutely no belief on Axis Bank courier provider / mail room
(didn't received intimation letter till now), went to branch after
taking 2 hr break from office, and collected it personally and
returned just 5 min ago. I'm lot relieved now as at least I have DDA
acknowledgement slip and NOC in original.

Hi Brad,

I went to Axis Bank branch Lajpat Nagar, loan dept section. Bank have
to give NOC and DDA acknowledgement slip for people who took loan for
initial deposit. If someone had deposited 1.5 lakh on their own, they
must
be having their receipt and don't need any NOC.

I can scan and upload the NOC but there is nothing in it just one line
that Applicant Name A/c no. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx is closed and no dues
remaining.

All,

I went to the Axis Bank Lajpat nagar branch this morning to get the NOC. You need to carry a photo ID and your DDA registration number. If you can carry the counter-foil of your 1.5L+interest deposit then it is good. If you can't find it, thats fine too. Folks there are quite cooperative.
You can take the NOC for some one else also. All you need is a letter from that person stating "I am so and so.. DDA registration number XYZ. I can't come to pick up the NOC. Please give the NOC to such and such person", that person's photo ID or a photocopy and your photo ID. Many people took the NOC for others when I was there. The person there said that they will start dispatching the NOCs by next week. The current status is that none of the NOCs seem to be printed. They printed our NOCs in front of us and got them signed from the authorities while we were there.
BTW, this branch is right next to the lajpat nagar metro station.

I got the NOC letter, the two cheques and the DDA application acknowledgement.

Hello OM

Does collecting the list of documents from Axis Bank what you have
collected fulfill this criteria:-
Copy of Bank account Pass Book/Bank Statement duly attested by the
Bank Manager from which the Allotment
money has been deposited alongwith Payment proof.

or do we have to separately get this atteatation?

I think this is the first requirement mentioned in demand letter.

Nishant,

I haven't received the demand letter yet. So can't comment for sure. But based on your Question, I think this should be fine. Because, the DDA form's acknowledgement slip has Axis sign/stamp, so am sure DDA knows we took a loan from Axis.

Others, any comments? Did anybody with Axis loan complete his/her verification? Please post your experience.

Thanks
Om
