Hi

In the affidavit it states , that said property will not be used for commercial purpose. Does that mean One cannot rent it out also.

Renting is not commercial... Renting it for comercial activities like Broker Office, like training institute, like A BPO office etc is illegal.

It means the flat can only be used for residential purposes
renting is not an issue here but the tenant(or the owner) cannot use it for commercial purpose like as an office, shop, show room etc

BUT the brokers are doing that in front of their noses,,,,,, how come they have flooded the premises with bill boards ....

Not sure if this "No more boards in vasant kunj, not even by brokers on their own houses." will ever become a reality.
I was there yesterday and quite a lot of boards are present. Only the ones right outside are gone but inside they are still there.

I think there are a few properties which are marked for using as commercial. I am talking about ground floor properties. I am not sure about HIGs since I have not seen any but most ground floors at Jasola LIG and Dwarka LIG, dealers told me can be used for commercial. I think DDA defines the defination of commercial to be used as either clinic, beauty parlour, CA, Advocate.

But it has to be on a wider road some specified meters or something. But again just heard about it not seen the papers or anything related to it.

Hi,

Will this be an affidavit or an undertaking (for no alteration)? With this require witnesses?

Hi Pushkala,
Thanks for this post, I am very new to this Group and found to be informative. Can you please let me know the affidavit you have attached for 'Non Alteration' will normally be notarized on a plain paper and does not stamp paper, or this format needs to be written on Stamp paper. If so, how much amount of stamp paper is required. Is this format approved by DDA or does they have their own standard Affidavit format.
Many thanks for your help on this.

Thanks,
vinesh
