Ok, so I have confirmations from the following for these dates:

H13: All except Yatish (15)

H10: All except PJ (6)

Others: Mohit, Neehar, Mondal, Dushyanth (4)

Probables: Buddy, Sarangdhar, Kedar (3)

So, in total 25 confirmed. With 2-3 BTechs and all the probables, around 30 would be great!

In case I have missed someone, kindly post here!

We already have a separate thread running for deciding the venue. Once that gets finalized, other logistics would be put up here.

ok so the Camp X at Lonavla is coming out to be 1600 per head in total for 2days. It includes:

Bus Transport

1 night stay in Tents/Dorms

Activities: Kayaking, River Crossing, River Swim

Campfire

Meals: Lunch, Hi-Tea, Dinner (Saturday), Breakfast (Sunday)

The camping thing Deeksha mentioned at Lavasa is much more expensive.

Bhandardara and Mahabaleshwar have already been ruled out.

So we could just book this if ppl are enthu or if the cost seems high, we could simply just book a villa or something at Lonavla and chill out there.

just for perspective: the last trip costed roughly 1000 per head (600 for travel/acco + ~400 on meals).

so there's another option: I found a reasonably priced Bungalow in Lonavla. It should accommodate all of us. They have a swimming pool but its part of an adjacent society and is not used by anyone else. Costs ~800 including transport. Meals extra. Pics attached.

People plz comment. I'm out of options now. If both these options are not acceptable, then either the trip is not happening or someone else will have to look for alternate places.

So I like the idea of just chilling in lonavla because I am skeptical ki water will be there for kayaking. Otherwise I'm cool with anything.

Mech 4thie Btech Junta went to kolad on 1st ,2nd. Apparently rafting was infi god, kayaking and river crossing was OK OK.

This is much better but without swimming pool. However, he can arrange bonfire, barbeque. He has got a good music system as well. Costs ~1300 with transport. Meals extra.

I would still prefer the Camp X thing over the others.

I just checked the house rules for this villa. Alcohol, loud music, kids < 12yrs, unmarried couples etc. are allowed, but non-veg is not :P
