Dear Graduating Seniors,

We formally invite you to the valid extort function of the department of
EE. It's the time to relive your association with the department for the
last few years and fix those memories and experiences in stone .
The event will kick off with an address by Prof. Karandikar and other
professors.Interested students are also requested to share their
opinions/comments.
Students who have successfully completed their minor/honor degrees would
be felicitated and followed by batch photographs.

Refreshments would be served .

something useful....

just ask GSec what he think is needed... it can be a water cooler or something like that.

I saw one thing in lab here. There are monitors which continously show some description (with figures) about project done or being done. It was pretty inspiring and in our department there is a lot of such things.

^That is a brilliant idea. I do not know the logistics (and the total contribution required) of this but currently a lot of labs are under-resourced. One suggestion will be to contribute towards their development- contributing for the infrastructure, equipments  etc... That will have a more tangible impact on the department and the same time will be extremely useful for the coming batches.

On Toes (Malad) has a decent size hall for such things. We will be like 40 people assuming 80% will be able to make it (this is not a trip, aa jana yaar). We can book it for this Saturday.

They can also arrange for unlimited alcohol but sab log nahi pite aur distinction me issue ho jayega. But if popular demand exists, that can be done.

Friday. On Toes, Host Inn, Zouk nahi ho paya.. UFO is the tentative venue. Almost fix ho hi gaya hai.

Base cost: 700 per person for food, hall, DJ, etc.

For alcohol junta: We will buy bottles (vodka and whiskey) and cold drinks from outside and use them there. Whoever touches the daru will be counted in alcohol junta. There is no "fringe" category; you're either in or out. Sorry about that.

Dekho people.. we had contacted almost every place you wish to go.. like Host-In, SunCity, Fuel Lounge, Green Jade, UFO, Metro Lounge, Irish Pub, etc.. par sab mei pains aa rhe the..

Me, Shardul and Ameta went to Zouk for the first time on our job treat and this is the place which 'clicked' right on the very first visit.

Khana - I am veg, but khana itna god tha ki I ended up having fish fingers! Starters infi khaye but main course ka ek bite liya and entire wing khana kha gayi after so much daaru! I am sure everyone who has been there will agree on this - khana infi god hota hai.. And iss price mei you wont find anything better (quality wise as well as quantity wise).. believe me we have contacted everyone and pushed everyone really hard for the prices.. Tum barbeque nation mei 700 mei buffet kar skte ho par no drinking waha pe.. no DJ, no place for dance, and sab saath mei baithke bhi kha nahi sakte.. 

Ek bar chalo toh Zouk, its a place of love at first sight :D

DJ - deekha tujhe pata h na the songs I had played during the Lonavala trip. The DJ is fabulous- hindi, punjabi, english - every song was top of the class party song. Believe me!

Daaru - Bar hai acha sa and daaru mast hoti h.. BP mil rahi h infi !! Shots wagaera sab hai!

Sab chal lo, believe me it will be one hell of a memorable night!
