Dear students,
This mail is mainly for B.Tech / DD students graduating this year.
Please read the following mail regarding re-tagging carefully.
The relevant rules for re-tagging are below:

ASC will implement the rules above in enabling re-tagging.
Process: Students will be given an opportunity to make as many changes
as they want in a window of dates to be declared by Academic Office. This
window is 13 May 2014 to 15 May 2014. For this purpose a “save changes”
button will be provided. When a commit is necessary, students will be
given an option of either “system approval” or “manual approval” (if they
seek to re-tag courses outside the permitted changeable re-tags).
The student is required to make this decision by means of one of the two
buttons provided for this purpose. Once exercised (either for system
approval or manual approval) the student will not be allowed to change
anything. If the student does not exercise any option, then after the
expiry of the window of dates, the latest saved change will be taken and
the re-tag process is thus frozen.
The PRINT option will be available only when the freeze decision is made,
and only for the manual approval process. For such cases, ASC will
generate a title which says “Manual Approval Sought by Student for
Retagging” as a header. Academic office will not honour any other
printout for this purpose.
In summary, if re-tagging is done as per the table above, it needs to be
done only through ASC and no print out and approvals are needed. ONLY
those who want to try to re-tag courses in any other way should seek
manual approval after printing and indicating the desired tags and getting
it approved through their fac ad.
