Just Garden and United Way Day of Caring - September 21, 2012

Hello all,

WE have a great day planned for United Way’s Day of Caring and the
Just Garden Project’s Fall into Bed.

In partnership with the Just Garden Project, City University’s SIFE
Program, Fircrest, United Way, Lowes and Sky Nursery, we will be
building four raised bed gardens with and for the residents of
Fircrest.

We have also registered our project with The Green Apple Day of
Service with The Center for Green Schools. We are on their world wide
map! You can see our project on this link - just put your pointer on
the purple dot by Shoreline and the Just Garden Project will be
displayed!

This is truly a community event and will continue to be so with
residents donating some of their produce to Hopelink to distribute to
other Shoreline residents in need.
