Happy Hour at The Big Stick

When: Wednesday, September 6, 6:00-8:00 PM

Where: The Big Stick, 20 M St SE, DC (New location)

Due to the weather, we're moving tonight's Happy Hour indoors to The Big Stick in Navy Yard. Kick off Fall events with us tonight and your first Happy Hour beer or wine is on us! We're excited to catch up with everyone and welcome new young professionals who are interested in getting involved. Big Stick is located across the street from the Navy Yard/Ballpark Metro Station. To find the group, just look for the red balloon.

Habitat for Humanity Build Day
When: Saturday, September 30, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Where: RSVP for location details
We are excited to announce an ongoing partnership with Habitat for Humanity! The Kiwanis Club of Washington is supporting a new house being built in D.C. and we’ll have regular opportunities for volunteers to get involved over the next year. Volunteer with DCYP at the next Habitat for Humanity project on Saturday, September 30. The exact activities will not be known until the date, due to continuous work on the house; activities may range from framing to painting to landscaping. It will be very hands-on so please wear close-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Breakfast, lunch, beverages, and project supplies will be provided. The location is forthcoming and will be located in NE or SE D.C.
>> Contact Stacey at dcyp.s...@gmail.com or RSVP on Meetup to receive full details.
