Head Ultimate Frisbee Coach Job Description:

DC International School is dedicated to the goal of building a culturally diverse faculty and staff committed to teaching and working in a multicultural and multilingual environment. 


We currently serve 520 racially and economically diverse students in grades 6-9.  We will move to the Walter Reed campus in 2017 where we will grow into a 6-12 middle and high school and serve 1500 students.  


While only in our third year DCI has become IB World School and has been rated Tier 1, the highest rating by our authorizer the Public Charter School Board.  We are dramatically increasing our staff in 2017-18 and look forward to receiving your application. Essential Attributes:

  • Interact with parents and students in a professional and inviting manner

  • Experience​ ​
    with ​coaching Middle and/or High School aged athletes and/or a background playing competitive Ultimate in College or Club. 

  • ​Create, apply and instruct skill and game strategy practices. 

  • Work 
    ​in concert​
    ​ with the assistant coach 

When: Friday's from 4:00-6:00April 7 (off 4/21 for Spring Break) - June 9th
                      (9 practices plus 1-2 Tournaments/matches)

Compensation: $500-660 DOE

Thanks for sharing - this is my son's school! Now that I'm seeing the schedule for their practices/games, I can say for sure that I'd be happy to help out as needed. (Not sure if I can commit to being "the" coach but do want to do whatever I can to make this a successful team.)
