In order to take advantage of 'Direct Cash Benefit Transfer' and in due course other benefits, "Aadhaar Seeding" would be required. There are different processes and the easies one appears to be online seeding. Simply log on to the following link, fill in a simple form and its done:

 

https://rasf.uidai.gov.in/seeding/User/ResidentSelfSeedingpds.aspx

 

And, to check the status of your "Aadhaar Seeding" request (for LPG), you may log on to:

 

http://petroleum.nic.in/dbtl/linkstatus.html
