Jingle All The Way 8k (12/9)

Hi Fellow T3ers,

 

I have registered a co-ed team for those interested in running the Jingle All The Way 8k, held on Sunday, Dec 9 near Freedom Plaza in DC.  The race is inexpensive, has a flat course, and is held at a central location (Fed. Triangle/Metro Ctr). I hope you decide to come out and join us!

TEAM RULES

The first five runners on each team (with at least one man and one woman in the first five) will be combined to determine the team’s scoring time. The two teams with the fastest times will win awards. While you can have a team of any size, only teams of five or more will be officially scored in the team division.

If you are interested in joining the team, here's what you do. Go to the race website to register: http://pacersevents.com/race/jingle-all-the-way-8k/.  On the first registration page, it will ask if you want to register as an individual or join a team. Select team, and on the second registration page you will have a dropdown menu of Team names to choose from. Select "DCT3 Honu" as your team, and complete the registration process.

 

Those of us who are available will be heading to a nearby restaurant to refuel after the race. Hope to see you there!

This is just a reminder to register as part of the DCT3 team for those interested in running the Jingle All The Way 8k, held one week from today, on Sunday, Dec 9 near Freedom Plaza in DC.  The race is inexpensive, has a flat course, and is held at a central location (Fed. Triangle/Metro Ctr). Friends and family are welcome to join the team too. Please email me directly to let me know if you register, so I can keep track of who to look for on Sunday. The more the merrier, so I hope you decide to come out and join us!

Just signed up!  Also, the Cherry Blossom lottery is now open.  I've created a lottery group if anyone is interested in registering for this April 7th race.

i can't make the jingle all the way, but sounds like a lot of fun. have a great time!
