Todd - we are getting some questions regarding the reason behind the rate increase for the CareFirst insurance policy. You gave us a pretty succinct and direct explanation for this at our recent board meeting, but I'm a bit wary of misstating the facts, so could you send us a quick explanation that we can send to the members? I'll have to talk with David as to whether we should send this to ALL the members or just to the ones that have asked about this.

Thank you, Todd. Perhaps we should consider sending out your explanation to all of the members so as to cut down on the individual queries and responses on your part (and ours). Let us know your thoughts on this - we don't want you to be overwhelmed with these questions.

I will put it together today and send over but I am surprised at the questions.  Jamie Reaser sent me an email last night saying the 15% increase (slightly above the 12% trend with Obamacare being implemented) was outrageous and wanting an explanation (no problem).  Mind you, there are multiple other choices anyone can change to for Open Enrollment.
