Must-Have Skills
• 10+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
• Multiple end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects on SAP S/4HANA
• Deep functional knowledge of inbound processing, outbound processing, internal warehouse processes, physical inventory, replenishment, production supply & staging, and stock management
• Hands-on experience with advanced EWM capabilities such as POSC, LOSC, WOCR, Wave Management, Handling Unit Management, Yard Management, Resource Management, VAS, and Cross-Docking
• Integration experience with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM and external applications through IDocs, APIs, middleware, CPI/BTP and EDI
• Experience with RF Framework, ITS Mobile, RFID integration, warehouse automation, data migration and cutover planning
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder-management skills
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure and implement SAP EWM solutions to support warehouse operations
• Lead full project lifecycle activities: requirements gathering, blueprinting, configuration, testing, deployment and post-go-live support
• Configure warehouse structures (warehouse number, storage types/sections/bins, activity areas, work centers)
• Implement and support inbound, outbound, internal movements, replenishment, production staging, physical inventory, stock transfers and scrapping
• Configure advanced EWM functions: POSC, LOSC, WOCR, Wave Management, HU Management, Yard Management, Resource Management, VAS and Cross-Docking
• Integrate EWM with SAP S/4HANA modules (MM, SD, PP, QM, TM) and external systems via IDocs, APIs, EDI and middleware
• Execute master-data preparation, data migration, cutover planning and go-live activities using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit
• Conduct Unit, SIT and UAT testing and support defect resolution
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom objects and enhancements
• Provide end-user training, documentation, knowledge transfer and hyper-care support
• Manage project deliverables, risks, timelines and stakeholder communication
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with Embedded and Decentralized EWM
• Exposure to manufacturing, retail, logistics or supply-chain industries
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for EWM and SAP BTP/CPI integration
• SAP EWM certification and experience leading offshore/onshore teams
Soft & Managerial Skills
• Excellent client-facing communication and presentation abilities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to lead workshops, gather requirements and mentor junior consultants
• 10–15 years overall SAP EWM experience with 3+ end-to-end S/4HANA implementations
