Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Appian Engineer to support the development and enhancement of a healthcare platform focused on specialty care management solutions. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Appian applications across the full development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure applications using the Appian platform
• Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance components
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Define and implement business workflows and enterprise platform capabilities
• Maintain and contribute to Appian Center of Excellence (CoE) standards and documentation
• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and ensure best practices
• Support unit testing, system testing, and release management
• Manage environment configurations and deployment processes
• Participate in troubleshooting, monitoring, and on-call support
• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of Appian development/design experience
• 10+ - Appian Engineer position plays a key role in the development of MBM’s platform(MBM- Medical Benefit Management).
• 6+ - Appian Center-of-Excellence documentation.
• 6+ - Experience with numerous design patterns.
• Strong experience with Appian BPM, SAIL, integrations, and workflows
• Experience with Appian CoE (Center of Excellence) practices
• Solid understanding of design patterns and application architecture
• Experience with system integrations and APIs
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

• Healthcare domain experience
• Experience with multiple databases and enterprise applications
• Exposure to low-code platforms or web development frameworks
