Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Lead / Sr. Lead Microsoft .NET Full Stack Engineer to drive enterprise application development, modernization, production support, and cloud transformation. This role combines hands-on technical leadership, solution architecture, engineering excellence, and team mentorship across .NET, front-end technologies, databases, cloud platforms, DevOps, and legacy modernization initiatives.

The ideal candidate will partner with customers, architects, product owners, and distributed engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and SLA-driven business applications while improving platform sustainability and operational maturity.

 

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead architecture, design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications using .NET Core/.NET 8+, C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, Microservices, Angular/React, SQL Server, and MongoDB.
  • Drive modernization of legacy .NET Framework, Classic ASP, AngularJS, monolithic, and on-premises applications through phased migration, re-platforming, cloud adoption (AWS cloud preference), and technical debt reduction.
  • Define engineering standards, coding practices, architecture guardrails, reusable patterns, and technical governance across Agile delivery teams.
  • Review solution designs, guide complex technical decisions, and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and secure solutions.

 

Support, Maintenance & Operations Leadership

  • Lead support and maintenance of mission-critical enterprise applications, ensuring adherence to SLA/SLO commitments for availability, incident response, issue resolution, and service quality.
  • Own incident, problem, change, release, service request, RCA, and knowledge management processes aligned to ITIL-based operating models.
  • Track operational KPIs including uptime, MTTR, incident trends, defect leakage, support quality, observability coverage, and proactive maintenance improvements.
  • Coordinate with business, infrastructure, security, DevOps, and engineering teams during production outages, releases, escalations, and transition-to-support activities.
  • Drive continuous service improvement through automation, monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, performance tuning, and governance compliance.

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of software engineering, application development, and support experience, including 3+ years in a technical lead, engineering lead, or managed services leadership role.
  • Expert hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, .NET 6/8+, REST APIs, Microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Strong front-end experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and/or React.
  • Strong database expertise in SQL Server design, optimization, performance tuning, and exposure to MongoDB/NoSQL architectures.
  • Experience building and supporting cloud-native solutions using AWS and/or Azure, including deployment, scalability, reliability, and platform optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Proven experience supporting 24x7 production applications, managing SLA/KPI-driven delivery, and troubleshooting across application, database, middleware, cloud, and infrastructure layers.
  • Experience with monitoring/observability platforms such as Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe, ITIL, change management, release governance, audit compliance, and enterprise delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, mentoring, and leadership skills.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience in large-scale application modernization, cloud transformation, AMS, or SRE-led support environments.
  • Exposure to Kafka, Redis, event streaming, messaging platforms, Terraform, CloudFormation, or Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with AI-assisted software engineering, Agentic AI, Generative AI integrations, AIOps, or IT Operations Analytics.
  • Experience managing globally distributed teams across multiple time zones and supporting regulated or audit-heavy environments.
  • Domain exposure in Real Estate, Financial Services, Retail, or enterprise platform ecosystems.
