Job Title: Senior Azure Network / Infrastructure Cloud Architect
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Network / Infrastructure Cloud Architect to support a large-scale Mosaic Cloud Migration Program. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure architecture, enterprise networking, cloud migration strategy, and hybrid infrastructure design. This role will lead the architecture and execution of migrating enterprise workloads from on-premises data centers to Microsoft Azure while ensuring security, scalability, resiliency, and governance compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud & Infrastructure Architecture
- Design and implement target-state Azure architecture aligned with enterprise cloud standards and governance.
- Define Azure Landing Zones, subscription strategy, management groups, identity integration, and network topology.
- Architect hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure using ExpressRoute, VPN, and secure routing models.
- Develop network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and Zero Trust security architectures.
- Design highly available, resilient, and disaster recovery-enabled cloud solutions.
Migration Strategy & Execution
- Lead infrastructure discovery, dependency mapping, and migration assessments.
- Develop migration approaches including rehost, replatform, and refactor strategies.
- Define cutover plans, rollback strategies, and coexistence models.
- Partner with application teams to ensure migration readiness and performance optimization.
- Support data center exit planning and infrastructure decommissioning activities.
Networking & Security
- Design Azure VNet architectures, hub-and-spoke networking, firewall strategies, and traffic inspection models.
- Architect and implement:
- Azure Firewall / Network Virtual Appliances (NVA)
- Application Gateway
- Load Balancers
- Azure Front Door
- Hybrid DNS Resolution
- Implement NSGs, ASGs, UDRs, Conditional Access, and enterprise security controls.
- Ensure alignment with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC2, and enterprise security standards.
Infrastructure Modernization:
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
- Automate provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Design monitoring and observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel, and related tools.
- Define backup, patching, lifecycle management, and operational excellence strategies.
- Support AKS, containerization, and Azure platform services where applicable.
Governance & Operations:
- Establish cloud governance frameworks, tagging standards, and FinOps practices.
- Support cloud operating model transformation and operational readiness.
- Create architecture documentation, standards, runbooks, and reference designs.
- Provide technical leadership and advisory support to executive stakeholders and project teams.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure and network architecture experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure architecture experience.
- Proven experience leading large-scale data center to Azure cloud migration initiatives.
