Job Title: SAP UAT Functional Lead (S/4HANA)

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite)(Local candidate)

Level: Functional Consultant - L1 / UAT Lead


Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned SAP UAT Lead to bridge the gap between technical delivery and business requirements. This is a business-side opening where you will interact directly with client stakeholders to govern the SAP testing process. You will be responsible for setting testing standards, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that all end-to-end business scenarios—specifically within Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P)—are validated for a seamless S/4HANA transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Governance: Define and implement high-level Test Strategies and detailed Test Plans for UAT phases.

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business partners, developers, and cross-functional teams to resolve defects.

  • Manual Testing & Design: Identify critical business test cases, write comprehensive scripts, and perform manual execution in SAP SD, MM, and SM modules.

  • Project Leadership: Host status meetings, manage defect triage sessions, and report on project health/readiness to executive leadership.

  • End-to-End Coordination: Validate integrations between SAP and various backend systems/third-party vendors.

  • Training: Create training materials and deliver sessions to business end-users to ensure UAT readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • SAP Functional Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of experience in at least one core module: SAP SD, SAP MM, or SAP SM.

  • Business Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of Logistics Execution (LE) and Financial Accounting (FI) integrations.

  • Leadership: 4–5 years in a Team Lead or Managerial capacity within an SAP environment (Max 16 years total experience).

  • Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with HP Quality Center / ALM for defect tracking and test management.

  • Industry Context: Previous experience in Retail or Online Store environments is highly preferred.

  • Education/Cert: PMP Certification is a significant advantage.

  • Migration Exp: Direct experience with S/4HANA migration projects is preferred
