Dear Ben,

Sorry to miss the meeting - was away for a family funeral - sad, but nice to have the whole family together.

Introducing my friend Monica Bose. Monica is a great established local artist with international exposure.

She always tries to tie her art to DC places/issues - esp Ward7&8.

SEE ATTACHED PRESS RELEASE - This spring she is doing an exciting exhibit in Anacostia.

Would be great if MOAPIA could help publicize a local APIA artist working in ward7&8.

I will help and hope MOAPIA can too.  CCing my commissioner colleagues as well.

Cheers!
Kishan

Hi Kishan,
Happy new year! I hope Om is doing well. I wondered if you can connect me and my colleague Karen Baker with the AAPI affairs folks at the Mayor’s office. We want to let them know about the transborder project WRAPture and get their help in getting the word out. Media release is attached.

Also I’m doing a workshop with federal workers on Saturday January 26 from 12:30 to 2:30 at the Line Hotel.

Thanks for your help, Kishan! And congrats on your election to the ANC !
Best,
Monica
