Neighbors,

I'm on the community board of our local PBS station, WETA, and we are part of the annual Gershwin Prize for Popular Song on Wed, March 13 @ DAR Constitution Hall (18th & C)

• Husband-and-wife team Emilio and Gloria Estefan are the next recipients of the The Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song  and a star-studded live taping for PBS will honor them in style.
• During the event, the Estefans will be presented the Gershwin Prize by Carla Hayden, Librarian of Congress, and a delegation of Members of Congress.
• The honorees represent two historic firsts for the prize – the first time it has been awarded to a married couple or to musicians-songwriters of Hispanic descent.
• There will be several performances culminating with the awardees.

1. They have a few extra tickets and asked me to offer them to neighbors (will do my best to help)
2. But I Need to receive all names and email addresses of all attendees by this Sunday 8pm -  Send email to kisha...@gmail.com
3. They will put you on the list for tix at the door.
4. They will try to keep you and your guests together but cannot 100% guarantee that (all are guaranteed a seat - most likely nearby if not together)

• Wed, March 13 @ DAR Constitution Hall (18th & C) 
• Doors open 6:30, must be seated by 7:45, event will end before 10pm.
• It will be aired on PBS at a later date.
