Blast from the Past
Through much of the ‘90s and early 2000s, HFStival was the premiere summer festival on the east coast and a must-attend event. After taking a four-year hiatus, it has returned in true form, boasting headlining acts Third Eye Blind, Billy Idol, Everclear, Ed Kowalczyk from Live, and many more. When HFStival arrives at Merriweather Post Pavilion this September, it’ll be a wonderful day and great way to end your summer.

Expect to let loose and maybe even lose some of those pesky brain cells with these free-wheeling rockers.

One of a Kind
Japanese experimental/noise-rock collective Mono are as subtle as they are intense while on stage. Last year, they celebrated a decade together with a show in New York accompanied by the 24-piece Wordless Music Orchestra, and released the performance on CD and DVD. Back out on the road, Mono are arriving at 9:30 Club next week with Scottish indie rockers The Twilight Sad for a night of dynamic sounds.
