The second day in Chicago proved what we’re capable of doing. Add in other roster members that didn’t make it to Chicago and we’re setting ourselves up for an A Bracket appearance and a successful tournament.
In review, I was pleased with how evenly the ball was spread around the field and how each player made big contributions. Everyone played so well on Saturday and our victories were well earned.

Hey Everyone,
First, I would like to say congrats to everyone on our B Division Championship. I was pleased to finish how we did after the way our first day went. I also think that we have a lot of on and off field work to take care of if we want to compete in DC for the Gay Bowl. I think we should hit the off field stuff starting after the 4th so we don't fall behind. I deff. think we have a team that could win. There is also a chance we may be able to add one of the better players from the pride bowl to our team for gay bowl. However, I don't know the chances of this actually happening so I won't say anymore. Can we get a list of all who plan on playing in Gay Bowl by the end of next week so we can start getting our game plan together. If you search the internet you will find that the hellraisers have a web site. They keep getting better because they take it very serious. They have a live countdown until Gay Bowl IX on their web site. they will be ready to try to sweep Pride and Gay Bowls of 2009. I think if we take one week off from it all then at least start getting off field work done, such as who wants to go, who can we add to get better, captains, etc... then we can compete. If you know 100 % you're planning on playing in Gay Bowl please reply to all so we all know.

OK, we finally have details regarding our opponents and schedules. Our first game on Friday is not until 11:15 AM against San Diego . See the attachment about Group Play and read it carefully. We are in a four team group but only play the toughest 2 teams of the other three. Saturdays brackets are determined by the outcome of Friday. First two teams from each of the five groups advances to the A bracket along with one wild card team, for a total of 11. There will be 6 B bracket teams.
Let's finish in the top two of our bracket and not have to worry about an OT wild card game or B bracket!

We are just two and a half days way from the start of Pride Bowl II and I and extremely excited. I have included in the email some hot button topics to address some of your questions.
Pool Play
I have attached for your review the Pool Play and Bracket Play for the tournament. Due to an uneven number of teams to make up even pool play, we will need to use a mathematical formula to finalize the brackets. There is a brief description on how the tie breakers will work on the Pool Play sheet. Brandon will go over this in detail at the captains meeting.
Updating Rosters
Please continue to send in your updates to Corin. If your updates do not make the final roster, don’t fret. Just have your player show up to the sign-up party with their Government Issued ID to register. This is a fun, open invitational tournament and we will not turn anyone away so long as they meet the minimum requirements
1) 18 years or older
2) Not confirmed on more than one Roster
3) Has valid proof of Identification
a. State Issued Picture ID
b. Passport
c. Military ID
Sorry “Costco Membership Cards” are not considered a valid form of Identification. LOLFree Agents
In the past couple of days we have had a few players from random cities (not your own) ask about showing up and playing with a team. If anyone is interested in adding a random player to their roster, please contact me ASAP to let me know.
