Hi there,

I have been working on automating the dcm4chee installation process for a while now.

Finally managed to upload the scripts on git.

Please test the release when you have a chance.

Does your installation allow cd burning?

Thank you for your kind words.

I should be able to also include CD burning without any issue.

Will do the next release which will include CD burning (hopefully).

831 am automating dcm4chee installation Xp 3 .doc

Download the release version DCM4CHEE-2.18.0-postgresql_x86_x64.exe.zip

unzip takes several minutes to get dcm4chee-postgresql.exe double click it

Java development kit directory it suggested ~ c:\program files\java\jre7

I browsed to c:\dcm4chee\JDK > it suggested c:\program files\java\jre7 > I changed to I browsed to c:\dcm4chee\JDK again > next > close programs to continue I did > 3 billion > close > installs DCM4CHE Installer > Setup – PostgreSQL next BROWSE TO c:\dcm4chee\db < not \JDK

Choose the postgresql data directory to be c:\dcm4chee\db\data (this is selected automatically once the postgre directory is selected in the previous step

Set the password to be 1 without quotes port 5432 Locale for new database cluster [Default Locale] > when prompted enter the password 1 and press enter

This will be asked a few times(4) to create the databases (dcm4chee database and the auditing database) as well as the structure of the databases).

IMPORTANT!!!! When you type the password 1 it will look like nothing is happening when you type 1 (the cursor does not move as you type 1 ). Please make sure the prompted window is active by clicking on it first and press 1 & press ENTER. It will prompt 4 times

Uncheck the stackbuilder and finish the postgresql

Finish the dcm4chee installation & restart your computer. I ran DMC4HCEE from the icon on my desktop > http://127.0.0.1:8080/splash > error message not available

& Click on archive then login as admin/admin

10 Go to start and type services.msc and enter. Check to make sure DCM4HCEE service is up and running. If not right click and start the services < DCM4HCEE was not listed

If you cannot see DCM4HCEE service at all, navigate to c\dcm4chee\dcm4chee-2.18.0\bin\

^ it had a slightly different name = C:\dcm4chee\dcm4chee-arr-3.0.12-psql\bin

run install_service.bat as administrator then repeat the step #10.

no help can't run as admin install_service.bat

Hello, first congratulations for the work, I believe will help many people.

More unfortunately downloaded the file and installed received an error message that was missing files: createbd.exe and psql.exe it should is: C: \ dcm4chee \ db \ bin

I would be very happy if corrected this error and send a link with the correct installation file.

Obs. Google Chrome is no longer compatible with the java, the correct would be to install firefox.

Once again I appreciate the help.

Olá, primeiro parabéns pelo trabalho, acredito que vai ajudar muita gente.

Mais infelizmente baixei o arquivo e na instalação recebi uma mensagem de erro informando que estava faltando os arquivos: createbd.exe e psql.exe que deveria está em: C:\dcm4chee\db\bin

Ficaria muito feliz se corrigisse esse erro e enviasse um link com o arquivo de instalação correto.

Obs. O Google Chrome não é mais compatível com o java, o correto seria instalar o firefox.

Mais uma vez agradeço a ajuda.

Looking good, had to modify the JAVA_HOME as it was pointing to the installer in dcm4chee\JAVA and also the install_service.bat was trying to get to jre\server\ where it has jre7\client - I updated the .bat and then the service worked (updated JAVA_HOME also). The sql files are .exe in your script so I just ran the .psql file in PGADMIN3 to create the tables.

Great job! All installed without problems. That's only when you try to log in as admin / admin - invalid login ... Tell me, what can be done?

Hi!

Thanks for the answer! I've learned a lot.:) There were two outstanding issues -

1.There may shift after installation if the database to another physical disk, and if so, how?

Maybe it should be done at compile time - if so, what changes should I make?

2. It is possible to change the default WADO port? Change AE and C-MOVE port - no problem, but WADO ... And if possible, how?

In general, the assembly works great!

Hi Alex!

1. I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERN8F9JO9RM , I never tryed but i belive you need this.

I recommend that you use one virtual machine.

HI!

1 unresolved issue - how to change the port WADO? Or - which is better - a common port for Jboss, etc, and the entire assembly? The fact that there are on the same internal network work two servers, it is necessary to connect via Internet to both.
