DCM4CHEE 5.31.2 Duplicated studies when DICOM has two Issuer of Patient ID

Hello,

We have DCM4CHEE 5.31.2 which receives DICOM files from another PACS.

DICOM file has:

Issuer of Patient ID (0010,0021): ABC 

Also has:

Other Patient IDs Sequence (0010,1002) 

             > Issuer of Patient ID (0010,0021): XYZ

In this scenario two patient IDs are created in patient_id table (with different issuer of Patient ID). And in search results it shows same study twice.

How can we avoid duplication of the patients?

What settings need to be set in DCM4CHEE UI?

For example we want to keep only the first Issuer of Patient ID (0010,0021): ABC
