2.17.2-psql
Mac OS 10.7.3
Java 7

Installed weasis for the first time; copied files as instructed to server/default/deploy.  Then I tried to follow the instructions in the yellow box on the "install weasis with dcm4chee" web page:  created a file called weasis-pacs-connector.properties and copied the default text as my template; changed only the aetitle to DCM4CHEEmacmini, which is correct for my system, and saved the file to server/default/conf.  Did not do anything with Java classpath; assumed that default/conf is in the classpath.  Did not do anything with regard to weasis-jnlp-default.xml, since I do not understand what it does.  (But I did see the reference to Java version 6 in the file and wondered whether that might be an issue, since I have Java 7.)

I see web viewer icon in web3 interface, but clicking on icon opens emptying viewer.  no file downloads.

log attached.

It seems that your dcm4chee configuration does not allow C-FIND for any transfer syntaxes. Have you tried to make queries from other DICOM tools?

Hi everyone,

I have installed weasis and I see its icon in dmc4chee-web3 but when I click on it, a blank page is launched. Any ideas?
Installation:
Mac os X 10.7.5
Java 7 last update
dcm4chee 2.17.1
jboss 4.2.3
dcm4chee-web 3.0.1
weasis.rar 1.2.4
dcm4chee-web-weasis.jar and weasis-pacs-connector.war 3.0.1

The log is attached.

Thanks for your help

The server.log error is because you have not set up arrdb (audit repository db) - should not interfere with weasis.

If you access the website with Safari, have a look on the FAQ.

Hi,

Thank you for your answers.
For the deployement of the arrdb, I will try to fix it later. The dcm4chee pacs is functioning very well for almost 1 year now without it. But thanks for the notice.
I use Safari to access weasis and the option open safe files after downloading is selected. I try to use Firefox: it download the viewr.jnlp file and ask if I want to open it with java start. If I say yes, it starts launching weasis but a security warning appear. The problem is the window of the security warning is blank and my only option is to close the window which aborts the launching of weasis. Thinking it was a problem with Java security, I went into the preferences and when I click on java it opens the java control box which is also blank. If I minimize the box and then reopen it, I see the java console but I can't access any tab (I can only press ok). I have tried to de-install and reinstall java and to restart the computer without success. Any other ideas?

Have a nice day

It could be a configuration issue (version mismatch) with Java Webstart on Mac, see the second part of the page.

Are you able to run this JWS sample

Did you modify the jnlp file or the Weasis distribution?

Hi,

I disabled Java 7 and re-enabled the web plugin of Java 6 and it worked with Firefox. The tool bar at the top of weasis window has just a tendency to become blank but the icon reappears if you travel the mouse over them.
Safari still cannot open the .jnpl file automatically.

Thank you very much for your help and thank you to all the people that build dcm4chee and weasis.

Ok, but it should work with Java 7 too.
