Hi,

I have a dcm4chee-arc-light server, if a case comes which has a pdf or jpg file along with DICOM files, only pdf and jpg files are accepted by the server, DICOM files are ignored. How can I change the configuration to accept these together?

Let me know if I need to provide any more info.

Thanks,
Bhavesh

This is how the pdf and jpg files are getting received, but in the same study there are dicom files which are being ignored.

When you say “Accepted by the server” what do you mean? How are you sending/uploading the files to the server?

Also, the DICOM standard does not specify any extension so .dcm does not necessary indicate a DICOM file.

Yeah I think you are right, DICOM files are not always .dcm extension. In this case the transfer is happening from PACS to PACS. Is there any configuration in dcm4chee-arc-light to enable disable this.
