ONLINE STORAGE

Hi all.

Two very simple question.

1) I've configured a DCM4CHEE installation with C:\archive as path for ONLINE STORAGE

What to do If i would change to D:\archive?

2) Images and study stored in C:\archive, will be still visible in the web interface and retrievable with a DICOM Q/R?

You have a FileSystemMgt in the joss console.....

Click on group = ONLINE_STORAGE, service = FileSystemMgt (third line dcm4chee.archive). Scrolls the page to find the function (addRWFileSystem) which allows you to specify the location where the new archive.

Uses the function listFileSystems () to list the two archives. For now, it gives: FileSystem [pk = 1, archive, groupID = ONLINE_STORAGE, aet = VEDIM.PACS, ONLINE, RW +, userinfo = null]

RW + indicates that it is the active archive that will be stored in the new arrival reviews.

If you add an archive, it will be pk = 2 ...

Yes i now that, but in this way i will have 2 filesystem.

Which will be the default where the images will be stored?

There is the chance to specify exactly where to store images?

As Bernard states: the active filesystem is marked as RW+

If you mean allocate a filesystem to a specific sending AE then you can add additional filesystem groups to FilesystemMgt (using xml descriptor files) and you can associate an AE to a FileSystem Group ID using the Web GUI -> 'Application Entities'
