IAN in DCM4CHEE-5 arc-light

HI all, 

    I am new to DCM4CHEE-5 arc-light. can anyone help me with IAN in DCM4CHEE-5 arc-light.? I want to know whether IAN is available in DCM4CHEE-5 arc-light? and also want to know how to enable it in DCM4CHEE-5 arc-light.

Hi, 

  I tried to setup IAN in DCM4CHEE arc light and created a IANSCP listener using dcm4chee 5 toolkit. When the IAN notification process is started, it shows the error as "NO PRESENTATION CONTEXT ".  I tried with different modality images. All are returning the same error. Can Any one help to configure IAN in dcm4chee arc light server. And I attached the images for the configuration of Exporter, RULE and also the error log occurring while IAN Notification is generated.

     In below, I configured the ATTRIBUTE ENTITY in exporter rule as STUDY. And I tried to configure as INSTANCE. But I receive an ClassCastException.

Your configurations are wrong. For rule based trigger, the IAN is sent out only after the export of objects to the destination were successful.

The IAN Destination should be IANSCP, whereas the URI field shall contain the AE title of the device which acts as destination for export of objects from archive (in this case as explained in wiki, it is STORESCP). Also, as per your configuration, you may choose to select Storage Commitment SCP AE Title only if the destination (where objects are exported from the archive) is able to receive and respond to the Storage Commitment requests.

If your requirement is that IAN should be sent out when your archive receives the objects, you may refer

MPPS Supported by Modality : In this case once the system that sends objects to archive also sends a MPPS request IAN can be triggered from archive

or

MPPS Not Supported by Modality : In this case, even if MPPS is not supported by the system that sends objects to the archive, then on complete receive of study to the archive, IAN can be sent out.

Note :

Export Triggered IAN : Is only beneficial if the destination (to which objects are exported from the archive, in this case for eg. STORESCP) is not able to send out IAN itself to other systems. So in a way archive steps in, to send out IAN after objects have been exported to the destination.

Thanks for you help. I configured the server exactly as your guidance and now I am able to receive IAN notification in the receiver. Thanks for your help again.
