The RPACS is a visualization tool, handling and storage of digital medical images in DICOM format specification.
The DICOM specification establishes a common language between devices of different brands, which makes the RPACS compatible with all devices that also implement this standard.
Thus, the RPACS can easily connect to any PACS server (Communication System and Image Archiving), local or remote, making it possible to search, display and / or printing images.
The RPACS also has a system for creating and publishing medical reports. The reports system includes archiving in text format and / or audio and generating customized reports.
