Step to open patient cd with weasis viewer in ubuntu linux.

I want to open patient cd with weasis viewer in ubuntu linux. Can anyone explain step by step? I doesnt know much about linux. I installed jdk as well as jre, but weasis doesnt open.

Hi,

Theres different images you can open with WEASIS.

What is the file type of the image u want to open.

Heres the instructions:

1.) Click on File > Click on "DICOM" to open dicom objects, while choose "Image" to open jpeg, png, etc...

2.)

You will be able to see this window pop-up and locate your image.

Thanks for reply.. i can open dicom images as normal jpeg viewer. Is it possible that weasis viewer cd start automatically in Linux?

If you want to open a DICOM CD (which contains a DICOMDIR compliant to the standard) you can directly import images by the menu File > Import > DICOM CD.

As far as I know, there is no universal autorun mechanism for CD on Linux.
