Inquiry Regarding PET-CT Fusion Measurements & Future Feature Availability

First of all, thank you for your ongoing work and contributions to the Weasis platform. We are actively using Weasis in our workflow and it has been extremely valuable for diagnostic review, especially in radiology environments.

At this stage, we would like to evaluate PET-CT studies with fusion mode; however, we have noticed that measurement tools (SUV, region-based quantification, standardized uptake analysis, etc.) are currently not fully accessible or functional within PET-CT fusion views.

Our questions are as follows:

Is precise PET-CT quantification/measurement support currently available in Weasis?

If not available yet, is this feature planned in your roadmap?

Do you foresee an estimated timeline or version where such PET-CT fusion measurement capabilities may be implemented?

Thank you for your positive feedback about Weasis. We’re glad to hear that it is useful in your workflow.

Regarding PET-CT fusion: adding full PET-CT fusion capabilities is on the to-do list, but it is not a high-priority item. For now, quantification such as SUV measurements can be performed directly on the PET image (without fusion mode).

We don’t have an estimated timeline yet for enhanced PET-CT fusion, but there are at least three features before (Improve image/series synchronization, Manual scroll synchronization, and Hanging Protocols).
