Create HL7 v 2 Messages

Hi

I have non-HL7 Radiology Information System (RIS). I wanted to send HL7 messages (ORM : Order Messages) to the PACS Server. I am using mysql as database.

After searching on Internet i came to know that we first have to generate XML file with required data and then convert this xml to wl file or xml to dicom file.

Please provide me the correct xml sample file and how can i create HL7 formatted messages that i can sent to modality.

You can Use HAPI API (http://hl7api.sourceforge.net/) to create and send HL7 messages to your PACS Server (with the HAPI TestPanel).
