Queries regarding MAYAM 2.0

I recently updated my version of MAYAM, I am updated to the latest available version 2.0 beta. I am using MAYAM on Windows setup.My queries are as follow:-

1. How can i delete studies from MAYAM interface which are downloaded from PACS Server.

2. Can i define the location where to store the downloaded images.

3. How can i run MAYAM and open specific study from command line. The study can be on local machine or over the network shared drive.

4. On command prompt i get the following error. Please tell me to fix it.

5. In my setup , the viewing stations are shared by Doctors. We had given some doctors right to view CT, MR and some with only CT and some with all. How can i control this. As, MAYAM selects the modalities preset settings of the last configured one.

6. Can i have MIP, MPR and 3D option or need any plugin for this purpose.

7. Can i burn CD/DVD from MAYAM Workstation. If not then can we expect it in the next release of the MAYAM.

   My replies are inline.

1. How can i delete studies from MAYAM interface which are downloaded from PACS Server.

      Using "Delete" key, the selected study could be deleted from local in the version 2.1. All studies could also be deleted by Settings (the icon in top right corner) - > Reset Local DB.

2. Can i define the location where to store the downloaded images.

       No

3. How can i run MAYAM and open specific study from command line. The study can be on local machine or over the network shared drive.

       "Import" option is available in version 2.1, Settings(the icon in top right corner) - > Import. One or more studies can be imported using DICOMDIR. (No way from command line).

     Modalities can be activated/deactivated through Settings Icon -> Settings -> Query -> Modalities.

7. Can i burn CD/DVD from MAYAM Workstation. If not then can we expect it in the next release of the MAYAM.
        

     Features 6,7 are not available yet now and will be planned in future. Please follow Mayam road map for more information.

Check on the Mayam JIRA if your feature request is already there or create one. That’s the easiest way to drive Mayam’s future.
