Dicom-TLS for multiple modality and sigle remote pacs server setup

Hi ,

I have a remote instance of DCM4CHEE arc light seup running amd from multiple modality and multiple hospitals this server is recieving dicom files , now i want to use dicom-tls for this , i have run this for my laptop to server i.e. i genrated key and certificate and put key on my system and certificate on the remote server now when i send dicom file using dcmtk-tls then this works , but i have a doubt is that
i) will this work on actual modality?
ii) in case of multiple modality do i have to genrate key and certificate for each ?

iii) if muliple keys and certificate genrated then can i put all these certificates in dcm4chee and will modalities able to connect with dcm4chee , does dcm4chee support multiple certificate?  

If this isn't feasible then how can i use VPN option can someone guide me for that because i read that some modalities don't support dicom-tls , how should i handle this situation?
