DCM4CHEE 2.17.1 and JBoss version

Can I use DCM4CHEE 2.17.1 with JBoss 6 or 7, instead of JBoss 4.2.3 GA?

It's very tied to some JBOSS old components...

Hi!

I have a bunch of questions around the "new" DCM4CHEE:

Ive seen your project README says DCM4CHEE 4 needs JBOSS AS4, but on ( https://github.com/dcm4che/dcm4chee-arc/blob/master/INSTALL.md ), it says you need JBOSS EAP 6. Is that a 'bug' or typo ?

Also, regarding OpenJDK6 support, I might suppose we won't get JPEG2K support when using that JVM, the same problem we have when using IBM JVM, isn't it?

I think I remember you (was it?) saying that you didn't really mind about it, as you already designed an implementation around Pegasus libraries (which I think now are called Accusoft PicTools Medical). How difficult is to write a compression implementation, having already the libraries, either Pegasus or another ones?

It's the admin also JMX based? I was trying to work in some admin scripts/web interfaces via JMX, and I don't know if my work will be useful later... Should I better think about doing it via ldap? (I think I've seen config is loaded from ldap on this version...)

Also, as I'm not in the development department, and I have no clue what's the difference between JBOSS EAP and AS version, but I'll ask our developers about that :D
