Error when using Scheduled Procedure Step/Modality in Modality Worklist query

When querying a Modality Worklist using the findscu tool and using the Modality key (Scheduled Procedure Step Sequence), an error occurs; see attachment.
It appears that a numeric value is expected for that key, which is incorrect as it is of type Code String (CS). The error occurs in dcm4che3, but not in dcm4che2 (tool dcmmwl).
Tested in dcm4che-5.34.3 and dcm4che-2.0.28.
